How much are slow follow ups costing you?
Every business loses some leads to slow replies, missed calls and follow ups that never happen. Put in your own honest estimate and see what it adds up to over a year.
Revenue leaking out each year
$72,000
That is 120 leads a year that never got a real shot.
Every 1 point of close rate is worth $14,400 a year.
Follow up systems are one of the first things I fix with clients. Book a 15 minute call.
How this works
This is plain arithmetic on your own estimates. Leads lost per year are your monthly inquiries times 12 times the share that get no reply or a late one. Lost revenue is those leads times your close rate times your average sale.
The close rate line shows what one extra percentage point of close rate across all of your inquiries would bring in over a year.
Assumptions: Leaked leads would have closed at your normal rate if someone had followed up.
Why speed matters: A Harvard Business Review study of 2,241 companies found firms that tried to contact a lead within an hour were nearly 7 times as likely to qualify that lead as firms that waited longer, and 60 times as likely as firms that waited 24 hours or more. Read the study. This calculator does not apply that multiplier. It only uses your numbers.
Next step
Every lead deserves a real shot.
A simple follow up system turns the leads you already pay for into revenue you already earned.
