How this works
Hours given back are the weekly hours times the number of people times 52 weeks times the share automation would remove. Yearly value is those hours times the hourly cost.
Monthly savings are the yearly value divided by 12, minus the monthly running cost. Payback is the one time build cost divided by those monthly savings. The 3 year net gain is three years of savings after running costs, minus the build cost.
Assumptions: Saved hours are only worth money if they go to useful work. If the time just disappears into the day, the real return is lower.
